I cheered Mike on at the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association’s Twilight 5K tonight. Exciting wheelchair start and good to see other Dare2Tri peeps. Lake Forest IL is a beautiful town outside of Chicago.
That is the New Trier HS track & cross country team at the start… If you look to the right and a row back you’ll see Mike in his orange shirt & sunglasses.
Wheelchair winner made it in about 11.5 minutes looking as cool as a clam! Female wheelchair winner came in at 15 minutes.
Mike won with a time of 18:02!!!!
