Life is flying by! We have 90 DAYS LEFT until Ironman Wisconsin… that’s 3 months!
Last week I struggled with energy for my training. I napped every chance I got. Including pulling off into a parking lot on my way home one night because I NEEDED to nap right then and there. Not 30 minutes later. I slept in and napped every chance I got on Mon, Wed, Thurs & Friday. I think my body needed it. It certainly didn’t help my training log or my blog, that’s for sure.
But I rallied and got a short run in that night. And I rallied to do my long run this weekend in the heat of the Saturday, and my long ride in yesterday – 75 miles oh yeah!
Things I’ve been loving lately:
Diaper Rash Cream. Don’t ask. Mileage is creeping up and the heat & humidity came out in full force this weekend.
Chicago Tri Club – our newbies are preparing for their first triathlon this weekend– Pleasant Prairie– and I’m so proud of them! The one’s who have been involved since the beginning are SO ready for this race! Go CTC!
I’m getting ready this week for Pleasant Prairie Triathlon this weekend. I’m doing the Olympic Race, and am looking to get myself mentally and physically ready for the next big block of training after this week.
